It is a non-invasive procedure, using the absorption of electromagnetic radiation from the range of microwaves by tissues. The energy of the wave is absorbed by organic compounds and transformed into heat, which results in local thermolysis. A slight local temperature increase stimulates the organism: blood vessels dilate, muscle tension increases, tissues stretch and generally, metabolic processes are enhanced. An important property of the procedure is that it has no side effects, provided it is applied correctly.

Thermal effects of the radiofrequency energy also promote the production of new collagen fibres, the principal component of supple and flexible skin. As a result, the tension and texture of the skin are considerably improved, which gives the patient a younger look thanks to reduced cellulite and local deposits of fatty tissue on the face and body.

The procedure consists in attaching a reference electrode, usually to a limb, and running the other electrode on the surface of the treated area. One procedure lasts up to 30 minutes. It is important to take off and remove all metal objects before undergoing the procedure. When electromagnetic waves pass between the electrodes the patient feels pleasant warmth. If any discomfort occurs it should be reported immediately so that the operator can adjust the operating parameters, which are set individually for each patient. 

Indications: rejuvenation of the skin (increased flexibility, suppleness, tension), wrinkle reduction, elimination of cellulite, local reduction of fatty tissue, improvement of muscle tension, reduction of the visibility of stretch marks and scars. Green IRF is also recommended in the case of motor system disorders: post-inflammatory abnormalities, pathologies caused by injuries, degenerative conditions of muscles, tendons and joints.

Contraindications: pregnancy, skin diseases, neoplastic diseases, epilepsy, cardiovascular and blood system diseases, hypothyroidism, metal implants in the body, heart pacemaker, macular atrophy and cataract.

The procedure is applied in individually matched series at 7 – 14-day intervals. The first effects can be seen already after 2 weeks following the procedure.
