It is an outstanding product in its class. The anti-acne and anti-ageing properties of tretinoin have been thoroughly documented over the last 50 years. However, prolonged use of the substance involves a risk of retinoid dermatitis, whose symptoms include redness of the skin, burning and itching sensation and swelling. For these reasons tretinoin is used in medical applications as creams and lotions in very low concentrations (creams 0.025 – 0.05%, lotions up to 1%).

In the facial mask formula as much as 5-10-15% of tretinoin is contained. Such a high concentration is possible without any of the above-listed side effects. The positive results are quick to appear as the occlusive properties of the mask and its pharmaceutical formula enable superior penetration of tretinoin in the skin and reduce the need of repeat application. The quality of the skin is quickly improved and no side effects occur.
